飘的英文读后感篇1
great playwright shakespeare once said: books are the ladder of human progress. reading makes people wise to be proved by countless historical facts thousands of times. some countries have even paid a heavy price for ignoring this rule. and people or countries that attach great importance to this rule often benefit immensely.
even if the golden rule seems so firmly established, many people disagree that reading was useless at one time. especially in the special period of china s transformation, after witnessing the period of various unpleasant or even outrageous things, reading useless theorists seem to find a more solid basis for its tone, so they would rather spend a lot of time with television and computer screen stare, loathe to give up a little time to taste classical literature, also happy to laugh at the reader s academic atmosphere
i don t blame them at all, because i know that when they read and understand a classic works, they will not only scoff at what they have said, but also become a strong reader, and believe that reading makes people wise correctness. and " gone with the wind" is such a work with such power.
" gone with the wind" is also known as" gone with the wind", margaret? mrs mitchell s blood coagulation. mrs mitchell has written only this work in her life, and it is this work that has become a classic. i believe that a man s life to write a masterpiece is worth a person to spend a few days to read anyway, let alone such a shocking work of the mind. after reading this book, you will have a sense of wisdom when you sigh with the ups and downs of the plot.
飘的英文读后感篇2
this is a fairytale whose distribution volume is only second to the bible. itsquo;s been translated to versions of many other languages. and i gather there must be something special, something really great about it. itsquo;s this conviction that drove me to read it at the first beginning. well, with due respect to the author, i failed to see how this fairytale be worthy of our attention, despite the fact that many readers claimed this book to be designed for adults.
anyway, as a well-acknowledged book, it must possess unique feature to maintain itsquo;s position. and itsquo;s reputation and popularity will by no means be destroyed by what an unknown man says. i will talk about the main contents of the book, and the inspiration it renders as usual.
this book mainly tells us the experience of a prince from a tiny planet, who traveled to many other planets and finally came to the earth and met the pilot in a desert. the prince and the pilot became good friends, and the pilot gradually got to know the feeling and experience of his friend. before he came to the earth, little prince had been to other 6 little planets where he made acquaintance with some strange people. the first man he met was a king on a little planet, yet he claimed to be the king of the space and ridiculously justified his unshakable governance over all. the second person was a man of vanity, who enjoyed compliments of any form without considering whether itsquo;s sincere or not. the third person was an alcoholic who tried to forget the fact that hesquo;s addicted to acohol by drinking like a fish. the fourth person was an abosolute money-oriented businessman, who cared nothing but his fortune. next came the lamp-lighter who performed his duty blindly. the last one was a geographer who knew too much about geography to solve a real problem related to it. these six people each represented one kind of person like us. the author satirized peoplesquo;s conceit, emptiness, fakeness, innocence and blindness through the tone of a child.
i see eye to eye with the author in that the cause of peoplesquo;s loneliness can be concluded to the negligence of the bonds that connects them. people are supposed to care about each other, cherish whatsquo;s really important for them, and be grateful for the happiness that theysquo;ve gained. we all believe knowledge and experience enable us to see clearly and make right judgements all the time. but we may sometimes lose the right to speak straighforwardly, think creatively or love courageously resulting from what wesquo;ve experienced. that why in our middle school textbooks, itsquo;s the little kid that breaks the illusion of the emperor by saying but mum, he ainsquo;t were anything.
when i was a child, i was definitely a good boy who went home on time after school and did his homework and never tried anything without momsquo;s permission. and now i am a grown-up, and still i am a good man, at least, thatsquo;s what i heard. sometimes when i was lonely and i began to think about my childhood, then all the happiness and care-free life came back to me as it were yesterday. kids that once accompanied me during my childhood now become fathers and mothers of their kids and i myself am a child no more. thinking about all these things have made me moody. theresquo;re changes happening in our lives whether we are happy about it or not.
people told me life is a journey which will never stop once itsquo;s started. whatsquo;s left behind are happiness and sorrow, pride and shame, success and regret. theresquo;s good old time to reminisce and theresquo;s sad hours that reminds us of the pain. your feeling makes them real, and you know you lived.
i want to conclude by saying some positive words that each yestersday used to be today, and each today is the future of yesterday, so making the most of today is the best way to cherish your lives. our mortal beings are doomed to die. itsquo;s not sad, instead, death itsquo;s just a process of our lives. after all, wesquo;ve lived our lives and itsquo;s what we do and how we think that determine who we are.
飘的英文读后感篇3
after reading jane eyre, i think jane eyre is a great woman. through a serious of troublesome situations between jane eyre and mr. rochester, the author set up a great female image before readers: insisting on maintaining an independent personality, pursuing individual freedom, advocating equality of life and being confident before hard conditions.
her early life at gateshead was terrible, everyone seems harsh on her. she survives her parents at an early age, and has to live with her ugly aunt and three cousins. she suffers large quantities of bad conditions that others may not experience. however, she does not give up in despair, she does not destroy herself mentally, instead, jane eyre is filled with unlimited confidence, and she is a strong spirit, a victory over the inner personality.
she is then forced to send to lowood institution, unfortunately, life there turns out to be terrible, too. she is still under physical and spiritual punishment. mr brocklehurst insults her to be a liar before all pupils and teachers. but there she meets one sincere friend helen burns and one sincere teacher miss temple. they always treat her well. she then behaves very well and get many peoplesquo;s recognition. six years later, she makes a teacher there.
after two years teaching life at lowood institution, she plans to leave there to pursuit her own life and happiness. she was in a position of governess through a letter from thornfield. her life was totally changed after that. there she met a lovely girl, adele and her master, mr. rochester. she has a special feeling about them. with the development of the plots, jane eyre succeed a large sum of money from his uncle, and through all bitter things which was caused by rochestersquo;s wife in thornfield, jane eyre and mr.rockester finally get married and lead an ideal life.
i think jane eyre is an autobiography of charlotte bronte. although the story is made up, the heroine and people's life and the environment in the story were taken from the details of real people around and experience. charlotte bronte described a young girlsquo;s struggling life to express her inner thought: everyone is equal regardless of his or her gender. the uniqueness of jane eyre is not only lies in its truth and the strong artistic appeal, but also lies in the particular female image. the love story of rochester and jane eyre vividly shows the fire of passion and sincere heart strongly reveals their notions of love. she looks down upon the upper class who only use their power to do what they intend to do and laughs at their stupid to show her independent character and beauty dream.
in the actual fact, she wasnsquo;t pretty, even herself knows that, and of course, the ordinary appearance make others have bad opinion on her, even her own aunt dislike her. and some others even thought that she was easy to look down upon and tease, but she was totally much more than the plain and ugly tutor. and as a little governess she said to her master: do you think my poor, obscure, plain, and little has led me to be a soulless and heartless person? you have done a wrong thing!underneath these lines sees the equality of human in jane eyresquo;s mind. she has affection towards her master, mr. rochester, but when she finds that he has already had a wife, she leaves him and her love place without consideration. although god did not grant her a beauty and wealth person, instead, god gave her a kind mind and a thoughtful brain. her idea of equality and self-respect impressed us extremely much and make us feel the power inside her small body.
in my mind, a personsquo;s beauty on the face can only make others feel that he or she is attractive or charming, if his or her mind isnsquo;t the same noble as the appearance, beauty of this kind cannot last for a long time, because other people will one day find that the beauty which had charmed them was only a superficial one, itsquo;s not sincere, they will not like the person any more. for a long time, only a personsquo;s great virtue, a noble soul, a beautiful heart can be called as an everlasting beauty, just as albert einstein said: a person must be held accountable for their biological survival or all of the meaning or purpose, from an objective point of view, i think it is ridiculous. everyone can have a certain ideal, which determines the ideal and his efforts to determine the direction. in this sense, i never easy and the enjoyment of life as an end in itself, the ethical basis of this, i call it the ideal pigsty. i lit up the road, and continue to give me new courage to face up to the pleasure of the ideal life is good and the beautiful and true. if it were not for like-minded between the warm feelings, but focus on the objective world, the arts and sciences in the field of work will never reach the target, and then it seems to me that life would be empty. there are efforts to pursue the goal of the vulgar - property, vanity, luxury living, i think it is despicable.
now i get a better understanding of what real beauty is, as we are all human-beings, so we should distinguish whether a man is noble or vulgar.
jane eyresquo;s story makes me thinking about our future life and i learn much from her experiences, i know everyone will have a better tomorrow if one holds his beliefs, regardless of onesquo;s status and the situation he is in.
飘的英文读后感篇4
when i first read "gone with the wind," i felt that the author didnt know what to say, but that the story started with a party. then, once again, perhaps growing up, he read the whole storys twists and turns. throughout, i felt that the favourite character was scarlett, even though she was wild and cruel and greedy, but at the same time she showed her beauty and shrewdness in her.
she doesnt like the women of the time, they are less inhibited, and so pedantic, but scarlett is different, she is a lively and unfettered bird, in such a dark social freedom of flying. when she mistakenly gave ashley her elaborate "dress", her love was wrong. when she didnt understand her feelings and consumed rhetts love, she was wrong again. fortunately, scarlett was strong, and when she made two mistakes, she remembered her fathers words: "the earth is the only land that is with tomorrow." she was not confused or hesitant about her feelings. she believed in tomorrow and she could seize love tomorrow.
the main character, scarlett, is such a child, but strong and hopeful. as ashley said, melanie was so weak and timid, and scarlett was so brave. although scarlett failed in love, her life, her efforts, was clearly successful. when ashley left melanie to scarlett, she kept her promise and took good care of melanie, even though she was upset. during the war, it was difficult for everyone to live, and scarlett supported melanie and her family by her own efforts, even though many of them had been cheated by frank. maybe some people thought she was a real sneaky, mean-spirited, but i couldnt agree that scarlett was doing it to save all the people, and she couldnt destroy her fathers family. scarlett tried so hard, she was persistent and brave to protect everyone. compared with melanie, scarlett was not a good woman, but she was more real and more empathetic. melanie is too perfect, perfect to the impossible, so she can be a good image of the representative, this is the reason i like scarlett, she is a really alive, human being. in melanie, scarlett first emotion only envy and hate, but in the end, melanies generosity to make her understand that she is like and rely on melanie, after all, mei and seven straight silently behind to help her. scarlett had a heart of tolerance, too, and she was tolerant of melanie during the war.
it was such a tolerant heart that she protected melanie and made scarlett see herself. "gone with the wind" is gorgeous, and it shapes scarlett, a man of her own soul and colorful character. let me know her strength, faith, hard work, perseverance, courage and tolerance from scarlett. the full text also added a lot of interest.
飘的英文读后感篇5
as far as we can see, it is trust that helps us all live together without precaution。 sometimes trust can even lead us to miracles, which we often expect to e about, so why not trust? trust yourself, trust others, and yousquo;ll salute miracles every single day。
in the novel, though the young oliver again and again fell for conspiracies of those hideous thieves, who tried to torture oliversquo;s body and poisoned oliversquo;s heart intensely, he always lived on and tried hard to seek for his own life。 then i realized what supported him all through were actually beliefs。 in most cases, what you believe is what yousquo;ll bee。 believe that you are unlimited, that you can do anything you mit to doing, and when you do, your acplishments will know no bounds。 you control your beliefs and that is how you ultimately control your life。 itsquo;s all dictated by your attitude。
in the final analysis, love and care contain numerous forms, there are love of forgiveness, love of trust, etc。 but they all e from your beliefs in life。 when someone tells you hesquo;s deceived you, forgive him anyway, when someone tells you what hesquo;s done, trust him anyway, and when you face adversities while chasing your dreams, think about your beliefs, then what hinders you will bee a piece of cake in no time。
so find out olivers in your life and do as mr。 brownlow and mrs。 maylie do: love them and care them, which cost nothing but save much。 they enrich those who receive, without impoverishing those who give。 they can be certain smallest words or actions, but the memory of them sometimes last forever。
charles dickens said:love makes the world go around。 these immortal words have inspired and will keep on inspiring us to chant the melody of love and to say the prayer of care forevermore。 let us, therefore, enjoy life and treat other people lovingly。 these principles are the roots and foundations of beliefs supporting this article and our mission together。
