从上次回老家到现在，我已经几乎有一年的时间没回老家了。在姥姥、姥爷家，我陪妹妹搭乐高、做游戏、教她认字、背诗。我还是姥姥姥爷的厨房小助手，当小助手，我感受到做饭真的不容易。我觉得最有意义的事就是每天都跟姥爷聊聊学校的饭菜好不好吃，在学校里发生的趣事，在学习上遇到的挫折及成就等。

姥姥姥爷每年夏天都去门口的池塘看荷花，今年我回来了，即使是秋天，但他们还是让我陪他们看了荷花，出了家门口，再走过一座浮桥，就到荷花池了。可是，我往那儿一看，原有两大片荷花只有一两朵正在盛开，还有几个花骨朵儿含苞待放，我非常失望，“哪有荷花嘛，不就是一大片荷叶和绿莲蓬嘛，那怎么办呀，都来了”。姥爷笑着说：“没关系，既然荷花都谢了，那不去让我给你讲一讲夏天荷花盛开的情景吧！”

我和姥爷就沿着池塘边走，采莲蓬。走着走着，我发现了一个莲蓬，我急忙把它摘下来，我边拿着这个莲蓬，边回忆姥爷说的话：发黑的莲蓬里有成熟的莲子，可以把它种在水里栽培，明年夏天就会长出荷花来，我回忆完，变将莲蓬里的莲子扒出来，扔进水里。都扔进水里之后，我便告诉姥爷说：“我把成熟的莲子都扔进水里了，就等着明年夏天长出荷花来了。”

姥爷听后笑着说：“傻丫头，荷花是需要工作人员把它栽培出来再种在水里泥里的，可不是自己就能生长呦！世界万物想自己生长都是很困难的，包括人。”

今天是10月1日祖国妈妈的55岁生日，全国13亿人普天同庆。我们万州也不例外，繁华的市区到处是张灯结彩、披红挂绿、锣鼓喧天，使整座城市焕然一新。为了纪念这盛大的节日，妈妈特地带我到西山公园去看动物杂技表演，我兴奋不已。到了西山公园的杂技表演场地，我看见有威风凛凛的老虎钻铁环、机灵活泼的猴子倒立、憨态可掬的大黑熊走钢丝。给我印象最深刻的就是猴子倒立，眼看着就要成功了，可却出现了失误，但它毫不气馁，又重新做了一次，最终还是胜利了。我想：我们学习就应该有这种顽强、拼搏的精神。看完了杂技表演，走在回家的路上，看见人们个个喜气洋洋，我心里也乐滋滋的。我衷心地祝愿我们的祖国日益强大、繁荣昌盛。

光阴似箭，日月如梭，转眼间又到了一年一度的国庆节。

国庆节是怎么来的呢?一九四九年十月一日，在世界历史上是极不寻常的一天。这一天，伟大的中华人民共和国诞生了，它标志着中华人民从此站起来了。人们为了欢庆这一天，把每年的十月一日定为国庆节。

国庆节这天，我们全家还有妈妈的同事一家去黑龙滩游玩。

在旅途中，我看见了许多建筑物上五星红旗迎风招展。乘坐了两小时的汽车，来到了黑龙滩的大坝前。大坝长271米，高53米，从底部至顶部渐渐变窄。这气势磅礴的大坝是用一块块条石构筑而成，它是仁寿人民智慧与勤劳的结晶。在大坝旁高耸着一块花岗石砌成的纪念碑，上面有郭沫若亲笔题字“黑龙滩水库”，这些字金光闪闪，苍劲有力。碑的旁边雕刻着一条栩栩如生的龙。

随后我们去坐游船，船启航了，阵阵的微风不时地吹来，十分凉爽。在船上可以看见一大群的鱼儿跟着船游动，它好像在与船赛跑。在阳光的照射下，湖面的水波光粼粼。不一会儿，船停在了蟠龙岛的码头。我们兴高采烈地走上了蟠龙岛,崎岖的山路是用一块块石板铺成的，山路两旁是茂密的森林，我原本以为会看到成群结队的猴子，但出乎我的意料，只看到了两只猴子。远远望去，两只猴子好像正在嬉戏打闹。

后来，我们又去乘坐快艇，快艇的速度是游船的四五倍，快艇左右颠簸，人似乎接近了水面，大风扑面而来，非常惊险刺激。快艇后面激起了白色的浪花，快艇两侧的水往外喷射。过了二十分钟，坐完了快艇，我们又回到了岸边。

这个国庆节，我真开心!我会永远记住这个国庆节。
